Integrate Matomo with GrowthApp

Connect your Matomo account to GrowthApp with this simple step-by-step process:

Step 1: Log in to Matomo

• Open Matomo and sign in to your account.

Step 2: Generate an Auth Token

1. Navigate to Account Settings.
2. Go to Personal Settings and select Security.
3. 
4. Scroll down to the Auth Tokens section and click Create New Token.
5. 
6. Enter a description for the token (e.g., “GrowthApp Integration”) and click Create New Token.

8. Copy the generated token. You’ll need this for integration.

Step 3: Retrieve Your Site ID and URL

1. Go back to your Matomo account and navigate to the Websites section.
2. Click on Manage to find your Site ID and Site URL.
   • The Site ID is displayed at the top of the page.
   • The Site URL is available a bit further down the same page.

Step 4: Log in to GrowthApp

• Sign in to your GrowthApp account.

Step 5: Go to the Integrations Page

• In GrowthApp, navigate to Integrations from the dashboard menu.
• Click on Add New Integration and select Matomo from the options.

Step 6: Activate the Integration

• Select “Configure” to enter your credentials.

Step 7: Configure the Integration

• Fill in the following fields:
  • Matomo Site URL: Enter the URL copied from Matomo.
  • Matomo Site ID: Enter the Site ID retrieved earlier.
  • Matomo Auth Token: Paste the auth token you generated.
• Click Save to complete the setup.
